Fluent In Human

The real conversation goes beyond screen time to the capacities we need to thrive in a digital age.

“

“After these practices, I started finding my kids opening up, asking me back the questions I’d asked them. We all got more interested in each other’s lives.”
— MOTHER OF TWO CHILDREN, AGES 6 AND 9

Fluent in Human develops eight key capacities in yourself first, and in the children you work with or raise.

WHAT THE PROGRAM BUILDS

Productive Uncertainty

Holding a question open rather than resolving it prematurely, in yourself and the children in your life.

Direct Observation

Seeing the person in front of you clearly enough to respond effectively and empathetically.

Extended Focus

Staying with one thread long enough to go deep, even in a moment of stress or frustration.

Each session is practical. You learn a capacity, then practice a strategy in real time, without relying on taking the phone away.
“

“After the third session, one of my quietest students started asking questions I couldn’t answer. That’s when I knew something had shifted.”
— ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHER, CAMBRIDGE MA

WHAT YOU'LL WALK AWAY WITH

A framework for knowing which capacities you most need to nurture.

Practices you can adapt to home, a classroom, or a session.

Language for talking with children and adults about attention and focus, without blame.
